The idea is to ensure the coordination of experiences in the different countries and regions, and to provide means of training and education that supplement these experiences and provide opportunities to experience cultural diversity.

The following means used to achieve these goals:

Coordination structures:

  • ImageContinental meeting: a statutory meeting for the exchange of information, training and decision-making. Takes place once a year and is attended by a leader from each country.
  • European Team: Two leaders working full-time on coordination visiting, assisting and supporting the different countries. They are also responsible for the development and implementation of the European Plans decided upon by the different countries at the Continental meeting.

Training plans and structures:

  • Training seminars attended by delegates from all the different countries dealing with various areas of action such as unemployment, training, social exclusion, etc.
  • Opportunities for the countries to share information and compare and discuss their experiences and projects..
  • Longer term training projects relating to skills for working with young people and leading actions in an educational manner in today's society.

European campaigns:

On special subjects, with all the countries working together and using common means:

  • to identify themselves (public image)
  • to meet and exchange ideas
  • for training
  • for dissemination of the facts about the situation of young people in Europe.

We are currently developing a campaign which we have entitled, No to the social exclusion of youth, yes to an intercultural society.
